Birgit Schyns, Distinguished Professor of People & Organisations at NEOMA, and co-authors analysed survey data on workers in the UK education sector during the COVID-19 pandemic. The fitness levels of young people are reduced during recessions, according to new research from Bradford School of Management. The study was completed with the goal of understanding how labour market conditions affect fitness. They did this by analyzing the fitness levels of people partaking in ‘Parkrun’ events which take place all over the UK. New research finds that companies’ reported emissions could vary significantly depending on their calculation methods and the emissions factor datasets used. The research found that the choice of method and dataset could produce a reported emissions total varying by as much as 6.7 times between the most and least flattering results possible.
