As Mean Girls hysteria takes over London this month, with the brand-new musical film landing in cinemas on 19th January, pop culture and musical hub, SOUND Cafe at The Cumberland Hotel will be recognising all fellow fans of the plastics.
In line with the arrival of the brand-new film, central London destination, SOUND Cafe at The Cumberland Hotel, which celebrates new music and legendary cultural moments, will be giving away a free Mean Girls themed cocktail or mocktail to all customers adhering to the iconic dress code.
The renowned rule, ‘On Wednesdays we wear pink’, first spoken by Karen Smith (played by Amanda Seyfried) in Mark Water’s iconic 2004 Mean Girls film, has been the call sign for Mean Girls fans for a generation and SOUND London at The Cumberland Hotel will be honouring the maxim this January, to celebrate the release of the 2024 film, 20 years on.
All customers who wear a pink item of clothing to SOUND Cafe on any Wednesday for the month of January, will receive a cocktail or mocktail on the house with any booking! All customers need to do is wear a pink item of clothing and let their server know on arrival that ‘On Wednesdays we wear pink’.
The complimentary cocktail or mocktail is no regular cocktail, but a cool cocktail, pink themed and totally fetch, specially curated for the occasion to recognise and celebrate all adoring fans.
The Go Glen Coco-nuts! features Bulleit Burbon, Malibu, Pineapple Juice, Grenadine, Coco Real and is garnished with a sprinkle of pink glitter, whilst the You Can Sip With Us has been curated with Non-Alcoholic Gin, Raspberry Syrup, Lemon Juice, Lemonade, Pink Edible Glitter and garnished with a maraschino cherry.
