B Corp-certified communications agency The Wilful Group has added D.O. Rueda – Spain’s leading white wine region and home of the native Verdejo grape – to its roster, marking a significant step in strengthening the agency’s FMCG practice.

Located in Castile and León, Rueda is one of Spain’s most celebrated wine regions covering 72 municipalities and is renowned for its premium Verdejo white wines. The region is also recognised for driving innovation in the wine industry and for having a significant proportion of female winemakers and directors shaping its future. After a competitive pitch, D.O.Rueda selected The Wilful Group to boost awareness and strengthen its presence with trade, media and wine enthusiasts.

The partnership will focus on highlighting Rueda’s rich winemaking heritage, regional authenticity and modern approach to wine through strategic events, tastings and cultural storytelling across the UK market.

“D.O. Rueda aligns perfectly with our growing portfolio of FMCG and lifestyle brands committed to sustainability, quality and culture,” says Rebecca Oatley, Founder and Co-CEO at The Wilful Group. “D.O. Rueda brings incredible heritage and global ambition, and we’re excited to help them tell their stories in powerful, market-moving ways.”

This win further reinforces Wilful’s growing reputation as a go-to agency for ambitious FMCG brands looking to scale impact and visibility through creative, purpose-driven communications.
