Flexible stall opportunities at I Do Handmade’s Small Biz village

Small businesses across the UK are being offered a unique opportunity to showcase and sell their products at The Ideal Home Show in Scotland and The Christmas Ideal Home Show in London, with small business specialists, I Do Handmade.

I Do Handmade, is hosting a Small Biz Village at the show specifically for small hand-made businesses. A flexible opportunity has been created to help product selling business owners retail in this exhibition sales environment. Stalls can be booked for one day of the show, or every day, giving them exposure, capturing the attention of a wide variety of customers, and to determine whether to invest in their own kiosk in the future.

I Do Handmade has been running pop-up markets at various locations since 2022. The owners, a mother, daughter duo Becky and Wendy, once ran their own hand-crafted business making and selling craft kits, but after lockdown switched to supporting other small businesses. The team ran highly successful events at the likes of Westfield in London and Stratford, Lakeside shopping centre in Essex and various corporate head offices including Sky, ITV and TikTok.

Becky said: “We know how tough it can be as a small business to get direct selling opportunities that are both easy to access and high in footfall. The Small Biz Village has been designed for makers, artists and crafters to get maximum exposure to a wide target audience in a reputable location.

“We’re looking for all sorts of businesses to join us in London and Scotland. Despite the show’s name, this national renown exhibition has become ‘a day out’ for visitors, offering an interactive shopping experience. In fact 75% of attendees come wanting to discover gifts and accessories to purchase.  So whether you’re selling beautifully designed stationery and cards, jewellery, homeware or toys, there’s a spot waiting for you.”

Small businesses exhibiting in the Small Biz Village will be able to take payments directly at their stall using their own wireless payment methods and will take home 100% of whatever they sell.

Scotland’s biggest show, The Ideal Home Show runs from the 24-27 May 2024 and sees more than 29,000 visitors over the four days. London’s Christmas Ideal Home Show runs from 27 Nov – 1 Dec 2024 and sees more than 54,000 visitors across the five days.
