Faithful Fay’ Greaves, star of the BBC’s BAFTA and NTA award-winning hit series The Traitors, is proud to be a newly appointed ambassador for Lawrence Dallaglio’s charity, Dallaglio RugbyWorks, using rugby to build brighter futures.
Fay, who recently concluded a 30-year career in education, is using her exposure from The Traitors as a platform to advocate for children with social, emotional and mental health needs as a charity ambassador and motivational speaker.
Dallaglio RugbyWorks’ mission is to work with young people aged 12-18 who have been excluded from school to help support them in realising their full potential for the future, developing life skills, raising aspirations, improving physical well-being, and focusing on mental well-being.
Lawrence Dallaglio says, “I’m delighted to see Fay joining the Dallaglio RugbyWorks squad as an ambassador. Her background in sport and passion for supporting people who have not had as many opportunities as others means she is a fantastic advocate for the work we do”.
Fay Greaves says, “Sport can save lives—I’ve seen it happen. Sport provides the skills and strategies to manage emotions and is a great tool for stress management.”
“Learning how to process emotions and manage my stress levels was a huge help in my career and was also extremely useful in the high stakes environment of The Traitors; I was buried alive in a coffin 6ft under, but I got through it without losing my cool!”.
