Influenced by the best flavours across China, Chinese Cricket Club’s unique and exotic menu celebrates Chinese cuisine through traditional techniques
The restaurant will provide an elegant and sophisticated backdrop whilst you welcome the Year of the Dragon, a sign associated with strength, health and prosperity.
The restaurant has speciality dishes named in honour of the fictional story of the captain of the Shanghai XI cricket team, Feng, who travelled to England in 1857 with his bride Xiu. The couple arrived at Blackfriars Docks and travelled to Limehouse, where Xiu opened the city’s first authentic Chinese restaurant. Their tradition is carried on by the warm atmosphere of Chinese Cricket Club and its extensive menu of handcrafted dim sum and specialty dishes.
From February 7th to February 11th, diners will be treated to a feast embodying the best authentic flavours found across China, whilst utilising traditional techniques and high quality ingredients to enhance the experience. The sharing menu, specially curated by head chef Tony Truong, costs from £128 per head, to be shared between a minimum of four diners.
Kick off the celebrations with appetisers to share, featuring a Prosperity Salad with tuna, salmon & yellowtail and Traditional Peking Duck. Standout main courses include Steamed Whole Seabass with spring onion & ginger and Roasted BBQ Pork with Jellyfish.
