Brockwell Bounce, London’s largest free festival for children and families, has announced its lineup of entertainment for 2025. Returning to Brockwell Park in Lambeth, Brockwell Bounce is a vibrant celebration of creativity and community. This big half-term day out is a must for Mums and Dads who know their little ones of all ages will love a day packed with music, dance, workshops, adventures, street food, and creative arts & crafts. Brockwell Bounce is free to enter, and no booking is required. Brockwell Park is home to this wonderful community event on Wednesday, 28th May from 12pm – 6pm. Visit www.brockwell-bounce.com for more info.

There are so many diverse, family-friendly activities to experience and engage with at Brockwell Bounce, as guests visit the different themed zones across the event.

In a big treat, Britain’s Got Talent winners Twist & Pulse will be showing off their incredible dance moves on the Main Stage. That’s also the spot for plenty of music, with entertainment from local talent Jom Youth Music and Lambeth Sounds – who will also be giving lively musical instrument lessons in the Music Making Zone. All those mini-circus performers out there should also head to the Main Stage to see the real thing, with Paradise Circus Performance, set to wow the crowds with jaw-dropping circus tricks, acrobatics and pure chaos – don’t forget to join the Paradise hula hoop workshops throughout the day too!

At The Enchanted Hollow, Fairy Belle leads young adventurers on magical quests, setting the stage for mythical challenges and brave discoveries. She’ll also be sharing enchanting tales with her baby dragons in special storytelling sessions. Adding to the wonder, the Dragon Walkabout brings children face to face with lifelike dragons and immersive fantasy landscapes. With rich soundscapes and sensory elements throughout, this is a truly magical experience for curious minds and growing imaginations.

Tootles & Nibs take over the Whirl & Twirl Bandstand. The theatre and events company that refuses to grow up will invite children to enjoy a secret recipe of hubbub, hullabaloo and brouhaha, with adventures, games, parties, stories, dreams and treasure hunts. Fun guaranteed, but there’s more to come when Brixton’s brilliant kids rave, Big Fish Little Fish gets the tunes pumping.

It’s half-term, so there will be a lot of energy to burn off. There’s no better place for this than the Adrenaline Zone, where kids can take parkour lessons, skateboarding lessons, and enjoy Total Bounce Out with Olympic trampolines (including trampolines for the under 7’s) as well as an inflatable air track.

Imaginations can run wild at Brockwell Bounce, whether it’s rocket-making with Steam Co. in the Imagination Zone, slime workshops with Gootopia, cooking pizzas with Kiddy Cook, or making Carnival masks with the Unicorn Theatre, young minds will never be short of things to occupy and excite them.

Families can recharge with family markets and street food as well as a visit to the Black Culture Market, the Brixton-based initiative that showcases entrepreneurs of African and Caribbean descent alongside their cultural products.

There is constant fun, entertainment, education, and imaginative interaction at Brockwell Bounce. From fairground rides to the Build & Bounce Space, storytelling, Baby Broadway, the Assemble Play area, the list goes on. A full breakdown of programming can be found at https://brockwell-bounce.com/whats-on/.

London’s biggest free family festival is an unmissable day out in the beautiful surroundings of Brockwell Park. Any parents looking for the best things to do in half-term should head to Brockwell Bounce and join in the fun.
