Club Pilates announces Wapping studio to open later this summer following successful launch of first two UK studios in London’s Bankside and Fulham Broadway
Club Pilates, the largest network of premium Pilates studios globally that offer a range of low-impact, full-body Reformer-based workouts, has announced Wapping as the location for its third UK studio opening later this summer, following the successful launch of the brand’s first two UK studios in London’s Bankside and Fulham Broadway.
The announcement follows news of Club Pilates peaking an impressive 1000 studios globally as the brand pushes on with a significant franchise rollout in the UK – the long-term ambition is to launch 50-75 UK Club Pilates studios in the next three to five years.
As per the brand’s first two UK studios, the Wapping studio, which will be located on Gauging Square, will be owned and operated by leading fitness and wellness firm, Deblankson Fitness Group, led by visionary and Founder, Chief Richard Uku, who owns the Master Franchise License for Club Pilates in the UK.
Expressing his excitement to bring Club Pilates to Wapping, Richard comments: “We’re delighted to be stepping up our UK rollout with Wapping closely following Bankside and Fulham Broadway.”

The Wapping location was also chosen due to the area’s wider business network where partnerships may be tapped with synergetic businesses to grow the studio’s customer base from the off, and similar to the brand’s first UK studios, the studio will be well connected by transport links, making it convenient for customers from nearby areas to reach and enjoy its benefits.
The concept, which was founded in 2007, has revolutionised the global fitness landscape by offering full-body Reformer-based workouts that innovatively integrate a mix of cardio, strength and interval style training, suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
