With free lobster dishes, surprise pop ups and limited-edition merch – including the return of the iconic Bib, Burger & Lobster is bringing everyone together this World Lobster Day, from lobster loyalists to first timers…

Calling all lobster lovers and lobster novices, London’s favourite home of all things surf and turf, Burger & Lobster, is on a mission this World Lobster Day. Once a food of the people, lobster was served to everybody, yet today, the nation is much more lobster-less. Following research that over 60% of Brits believe lobster is out of their price range*, Burger & Lobster is celebrating all things lobster, and for the first time ever, it’s going global too.

Launching on World Lobster Day, Wednesday 25th September, Burger & Lobster’s Bring One Get One experience will encourage those who have never tried lobster before to enjoy it for free. Seafood lovers will have the chance to share their love of lobster by simply bringing a friend who has never tried lobster to any Burger & Lobster restaurant and treat them to a meal for free. The biggest World Lobster Day to date, Burger & Lobster restaurants in New York and Singapore will also be joining the party.

Whether choosing a wild-caught lobster grilled or steamed to perfection, a lobster roll dressed with mouth-watering lemon mayo and chives served in a toasted brioche bun, or the lobster-topped Beast Burger, each dish is served with a portion of signature fries and lemon and garlic butter. Splitting the bill or treating a friend, one diner will enjoy a complimentary meal to celebrate their first ever lobster.

Surprising foodies everywhere and treating them to the ultimate catch of the day, Burger & Lobster bicycles will pop up in multiple London locations ahead of World Lobster Day celebrations. On Thursday 19th September and Tuesday 24th September, those lucky enough to spot a Burger & Lobster bicycle will have the chance to snap up a free lobster roll on the go. Bikes will be touring Soho and the City delighting commuters and anyone fortunate enough to be out and about exploring London with a lobster-lift during the hours of 11am-2pm and 3pm-6pm. Those keen to find out the exact route should visit the Burger & Lobster Instagram and keep their eyes peeled for more information.

Burger & Lobster is also bringing back the iconic bib for one day only alongside a limited edition lobster bucket hat. Those quick enough to grab a spot in the restaurant may have a chance to snatch one up – perfect for those Instagrammable moments.

Born out of research revealing that over 50% of Brits have never tried lobster due to its expensive price tag*, Burger & Lobster will be returning the lobster to its humble beginnings, where it stood as a food of the people. A fun and inclusive celebration for all, everyone should grab a friend and head into one of the brand’s nine UK locations (walk in’s only): Bond Street, Bread Street, Knightsbridge, Leicester Square, Mayfair, Oxford Circus, Soho, West India Quay and Threadneedle, this World Lobster Day.

On Wednesday 25th September, Burger & Lobster restaurants will welcome walk-in diners only. Everyone should grab friends and family and pop down to get their claws stuck in.
