On Saturday 1st February 2025, from 9am-5pm, Guinness Homes’ shared ownership development, Signal Park in Tolworth, is getting into the romantic spirit by hosting a Valentine’s themed event for people looking to take the next step and buy their first home.

With delicious sweet treats on offer, the event is an opportunity to learn more about shared ownership, visit the apartments first-hand, and have a sneak peek into life at Signal Park.

Through buying a share of a home, typically between 25% and 75%, shared ownership is a more affordable way for first-time buyers to get onto the property ladder, with homes typically requiring much lower deposits and monthly repayments than on the open market. There is the option to purchase more shares as time goes on through a process known as ‘staircasing’, with the possibility of owning 100% of the home in the future.

Located in Tolworth, Surbiton, residents of Signal Park can make the most of all that south-west London has to offer. From nearby attractions such as Hollywood Bowl and Surbiton Raceway, to a vibrant food and drinks scene, Signal Park is situated at the heart of this bustling London borough.

Hellyn Fairbrother, London Sales Manager at Guinness Homes, said: “At a time when the news is saturated with stories of people who simply cannot get onto the property ladder, shared ownership is the alternative people need.

“Signal Park offers beautiful high specification homes in a highly sought-after area; it’s no wonder that they’re now 85% sold with only 14 one-bed apartments still available. With a plethora of fantastic restaurants, cafes and bars nearby, gorgeous green spaces and excellent transport links, like Tolworth Station, which is just a 2-minute walk from the site and London Waterloo just 31 minutes away, there really is something for everyone at Signal Park. We’re so excited to help people feel the love this Valentine’s Day as they discover shared ownership.”

At Signal Park, apartments are ready to move into immediately, starting from £88,125 for a 25% share. Deposits are available from 5% and homes come with a £99 reservation fee.

INCENTIVE AVAILABLE: Complete by 31st March and receive £1000 towards legal fees or a £1000 John Lewis voucher!*

*Incentive Terms & Conditions: The incentive is plot specific and would be offered in the form of either a legal fee contribution or e-voucher provided by Guinness Homes. E-vouchers will be via John Lewis or an alternative provider, at Guinness Homes’ discretion. Incentive is valid for exchange and completions made by 31st March 2025. Speak to the sales team for further information.
