Homeowners are being offered 0% interest over five years on solar panels in a push to help people create a more sustainable home, faster. In a first for homeowners, they will have up to 5 years at 0% compared to others on the market that limit it to 1–3 years.

The announcement comes in response to data from clean energy solutions provider egg that revealed 60% of Brits would like to use solar panels but the fears over cost (61%) were holding them back.

This offer is just one of the ways egg is making clean energy accessible to more people. Their no-nonsense approach to cleaner energy includes cutting out the jargon for homeowners, an easy online application process and access to real people who are with you from enquiry to long after installation.

How the offer could look for homeowners:

    Location: Sunny spot

    Number of panels

    Price you buy them for

    60 month term

    6 £4999 £83
    7 £5,266 £88
    8 £5,533 £92
    9 £5,800 £97
    10 £6,067 £101
    11 £6,334 £106
    12 £6,601 £110

The offer runs until the end of September 2024. Home owners can apply here.
