Piccadilly’s iconic hotel, The Dilly, has officially launched its revamped London afternoon tea menu, featuring a new line-up of famous landmarks, plus a bespoke cocktail menu, highlighting a range of floral citrus flavours.

For £49pp, diners can enjoy a selection of homemade sarnies filled with some quintessentially British flavours, such as pastrami and horseradish mayonnaise and smoked salmon with cucumber and coconut cream cheese – both served on white bread, devil egg with cress served on malt country bread and beetroot carpaccio and feta, sandwiched between two slices of onion bread.

Joining the remarkable Big Ben landmark, which contains hazelnut praline and milk chocolate, is a delicious mud cake shaped like the London Eye, a royal crown jewel-shaped black forest cake, and The Dilly itself, containing walnut and honey cake, a strawberry and ginger bus, and a milk chocolate creméux. Visitors will also be able to indulge in plain and raisin-filled scones, served with delicious strawberry jam and decadent clotted cream.

There are also gluten free, vegan and vegetarian versions of the new menu, as well as a kid’s menu, which is available for £39.

As well as a brand-new afternoon tea menu, The Dilly will also be serving three exclusive cocktails, all priced at just £11. The list includes the Buckingham Bliss, a citrusy concoction containing gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and sparkling wine, the Secret Garden, a summary staple made up of Pimm’s, elderflower liqueur, lemonade and tonic water, and Mayfair’s Mist, made up of gin, lavender syrup, lemon juice and egg white or vegan foamer.
