The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences launch Royal Parks Picnics

The ideal al fresco option for a sunny day

The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences, in the heart of Mayfair, London, has launched their ‘Royal Parks Picnics’ al fresco experience. Situated directly opposite Green Park and just a short walk away from Hyde Park, the Athenaeum is the perfect location for visitors to explore London’s gorgeous green spaces. The hotel’s new offering provides a scrumptious picnic experience for those looking for a nature-packed way to enjoy the city’s royal parks. So grab a picnic basket, find a serene spot and bask in the sun while munching down on the provided nibbles.

The hotel’s picnic offering includes a Lunch Picnic or an Afternoon Tea Picnic, both can also be elevated with tipsy upgrades such as cider or champagne. In the Lunch Picnic, guests can enjoy a selection of sweet and savoury snacks including macaroons and strawberries as well as smoked mackerel rillettes and a nicoise salad. Discover a sweeter picnic experience with the Afternoon Tea Picnic, which, alongside some finger sandwiches, includes delicious treats such as various cakes, jams and even a chocolate mousse.

The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences’ Lunch and Afternoon Tea Picnics are available to pre-order at £45 per person, including a basket and blanket from April to September.  A minimum of 48 hours’ notice and a £100 deposit for the picnic basket & plates is required.  For more information, please visit https://www.athenaeumhotel.com/restaurant-bar/picnics/. Full Menu HERE.
