Seatfrog encourages fans heading to Wembley to help offset Taylor’s carbon emissions and tells them: “You Belong With Seat”
As Taylor Swift returns to London to wrap up the European leg of her Eras Tour, revolutionary rail ticket app Seatfrog is encouraging customers to start a Love Story with the environment and help the global star offset the carbon emissions from her tour travel.
The Taylor Saver Carbon Calculator has worked out exactly how much CO2 Taylor’s private jet will generate right from The Very First Night of the European leg until it’s time to say So Long, London. The figure, which adds up to 140,998 kgs of CO2, has been set against the amount of carbon Seatfrog users saved last month by getting the train instead of driving.
So, no more Would’ve, Could’ve, or Should’ve. Now, every time a trip is booked with Seatfrog, it’s clear exactly how much carbon customers are saving—and how it’s helping Tay Tay, too.
This is the second set of London dates as part of Taylor’s European tour, with hundreds of thousands of fans expected to travel from all over the UK to make the Wembley dates. As fans prepare for their journeys, Seatfrog is encouraging them to consider the Midnight (t)Rain over the Getaway Car.
There’s no Bad Blood here either. Carolyn Bishop, Spokesperson for Seatfrog comments, “Seatfrog, an avid Swiftie, is keen to stress that far from being Mean or making Sparks Fly between them, the initiative is simply designed to make it easier for fans to help Taylor to reduce her environmental impact and encourage us all to consider our carbon footprint, especially as many will be travelling into London from all over the UK.”Â
She added, “Long Story Short, we love Taylor Swift, but we also know All Too Well that we all need to do our bit to help the environment, so This Is Me Trying to bring the two together.”Â
“With our Taylor Saver Carbon Calculator, you can be part of the Change and make every journey a Safe & Sound one for our planet. And it’s not just carbon you’re saving – Seatfrog customers can enjoy a Gold Rush with the lowest prices every time.”
