    The 2024 Six Nations attracts fans from all over the world, with 49 countries reportedly purchasing tickets this year  – making it one of the most highly anticipated events in the sporting world. With matches spanning across six countries, the stadiums hosting the games are also part of the spectacle.

    Interested in this, experts at BestBettingSites.com took to TikTok, Instagram, and Google to uncover the most popular rugby stadiums that are hosting the Six Nations this year.

    BestBettingSites.com can reveal that Stadio Olimpico in Rome is the most popular Six Nations stadium, and is the second largest venue in Italy, with a total capacity of 62,698 people. The stadium scores 8.89 out of 10 for popularity and holds the record for each factor, dominating online with 326k Instagram hashtags, 20.2k TikToks, and 75k monthly searches. The stadium has welcomed numerous sporting events such as the Olympics, FIFA World Cup, and the Six Nations, as the unforgettable atmosphere is a beacon for sporting fanatics.

    In joint second place, French stadiums Groupama Stadium and Orange Velodrome both score 5.93 for popularity. Lyon’s Groupama Stadium gathers 57.4k Instagram tags, more than 5k TikTok posts, and 40k Google searches per month. Meanwhile, Orange Velodrome in Marseille generates the second most Instagram tags (138.9k) and almost 15k TikTok posts. The stadium also boasts an admirable 25.3k Google searches, well earning its place amongst the top of the scoreboard.

    In fourth place, is Cardiff’s Principality Stadium with 70.4k Instagram tags, a moderate number of TikTok posts equating to over 3k videos, and 29.4k searches per month. Previously known as The Millennium Stadium, it’s the home to the Wales national rugby union team and is Wales’s largest arena. The venue boasts an innovative one-of-a-kind pitch design making it the perfect location to host world-renowned sporting events.
