With Wales playing Italy at the Principality Stadium, Ireland playing Scotland at the Aviva Stadium and France playing England at the Groupama Stadium, BestBettingSites.com were curious to uncover where these stadiums ranked in the study…

Sat 16 Mar – Wales vs Italy: Principality Stadium

Cardiff’s Principality Stadium ranked fourth in the popularity study, scoring 5.19 out of 10. The stadium has racked up 70.4k Instagram tags, a moderate number of TikTok posts equating to over 3k videos, and 29.4k searches per month. Previously known as The Millennium Stadium, it’s the home to the Wales national rugby union team and is Wales’s largest arena. The venue boasts an innovative one-of-a-kind pitch design making it the perfect location to host world-renowned sporting events.

Sat 16 Mar – Ireland vs Scotland: Aviva Stadium

Aviva Stadium in Dublin ranks as the fifth most popular Six Nations stadium. With a total capacity of 51,700 people, the stadium scored just 4.44 out of 10 for popularity. However, despite stadium only racking up 41.7k in Instagram hashtags and 2.3k TikTok posts, they have the second highest search volumes per month out of all the stadiums at 67k. The Aviva Stadium is a popular venue, not only does it host most sport events, but is a chosen venue for many popular musicians (with Taylor Swift bringing her Eras Tour there in a matter of months).

Sat 16 Mar – France vs England: Groupama Stadium

The French and English rugby fans in attendance this weekend are in for a treat as the Groupama Stadium in Lyon ranked second in popularity, scoring 5.93 out of 10. The French stadium has 57.4k Instagram tags and 5,191 posts on TikTok – not to mention monthly searches of 43k. The 59,186-seat stadium is the home of French football club Olympique Lyonnais, as well as famous for hosting the 2016 UEFA Euro’s.
