Opening in Camden this May, Live Odyssey is an immersive new attraction that takes visitors through six decades of British music history. This interactive experience explores how music has evolved, capturing the energy, culture, and defining moments that shaped each era.
Rather than a traditional museum, Live Odyssey places visitors at the heart of the story. Six dedicated rooms highlight different musical movements, from the rebellious rock of the 1960s to the diverse sounds of today. A standout feature is the Hologram Room, where digital performances bring iconic artists back to the stage, including an exclusive holographic set from The Libertines. The exhibition also showcases 3,500 album and single cover artworks, offering a visual timeline of British music’s transformation.
Music memorabilia gives fans a closer connection to legendary artists. Visitors can see items like David Bowie’s Glastonbury microphone and John Lennon’s original recording leads from ‘Imagine,’ offering a rare glimpse into music history. The exhibition also celebrates the impact of artists from The Beatles and The Rolling Stones to modern stars like Adele and Stormzy, illustrating how each generation has redefined the sound of Britain.
Live music is a key part of the experience, with bands performing tribute sets to bring each era to life.
Beyond celebrating the past, Live Odyssey is also investing in the future. Partnering with Music Venue Trust, a portion of every ticket sale will go toward supporting grassroots music venues, helping to sustain the spaces where emerging artists get their start.
Creative Director Gary Prosser describes the exhibition as a “time capsule for British music,” aiming to preserve its legacy while making it more accessible to fans of all ages.
The two-and-a-half-hour experience takes place in Camden. Early Bird Tickets are available for £25 until 31st March. For more details, visit www.liveodyssey.co.uk.
