Founded by four creatives from the world’s most prestigious design firms, Shepherd& is a formidable collective of knowledge, experience and design intelligence. Shepherd& is unique in that its work is not defined by sectors, rather by approach, operating as an atelier rather than the industry norm which has developed into rigid categories and managed like corporations rather than places for creativity to be the focus.
Shepherd& is driven by creatives, with distinct expertise in the world of design, but with a shared vision to deliver enhanced environments for clients.
Initiated by Timothy Shepherd, a Londoner raised in Soho, who also calls Paris and Hong Kong home, brings over 30 years of global design leadership. Known for seamlessly blending interior design, architecture, fashion, travel, and the arts into a singular, holistic design philosophy. A great collaborator, who knows you need many to make great, the & is born from this.
Sara Rosellini, Tuscan raised, whose work channels imagination and storytelling into emotionally resonant spaces that captivate and connect. Her work across Europe is always personal, with clients of large well known companies always feeling she is talking directly to them. Cultured, well-schooled and multilingual, she believes in her team being her biggest asset.
Marko Gligorov specialises in luxury, alongside a rich architectural background. Marko creates and transforms environments into unforgettable experiences for global clients and brands. Proud of his heritage, his family and every single detail of his work, he defines himself daily by what he produces from his work. Funny, an excellent travelling companion, and constantly amazed and excited by the process and result of design.
Freda Shepherd, has a background in global fashion within a successful family business founded by her father in Hong Kong. Bringing this expertise into the practice she leads their approach to product procurement and delivery, focusing on quality, value, craftsmanship, innovation, and building key relationships with artisan and major manufacturers alike, worldwide. Her extensive travel throughout her life, her education and the cultures she has worked and connected with, all give her a broad and open view on society, and a readiness to support the whole process of design and delivery.
Now with a growing team drawn from colleagues and new introductions, the practice’s work includes luxury hospitality & residential design, retail, and commercial, engaging in exciting projects.

This same spirit continues through Timothy Shepherd’s appointment as Managing Director at Bush Architects, a well-established Paris studio. This reflects not only a shared design ethos, but a longstanding relationship with Derek Bush. Relationships like these, built on a mutual design philosophy are the foundation of creative collaboration, allowing visionary work to flourish internationally.
