Scottish Viral Comedy Sensation Joe McTernan Brings Hit Show to London

Stand-up comedian & actor Joe McTernan has over 50 million views and 170k online followers for his hilarious character-based sketches. His 2023 Edinburgh Fringe run was a roaring success, jam-packed with sell-out shows and 4 & 5 star reviews.

Famed for his observational stand-up and unique style, Joe switches from laid-back to uproariously frustrated at a lightning pace. He shares his irritation at inspirational online life advice and lambasts motivational nonsense, offering an alternative view encouraging people to live life to the ‘adequate amount’.

Last year, Joe McTernan’s viral success attracted the attention of Law & Order star Angie Harmon, and the pair shot a hilarious coffee shop spoof reel.

Joe has performed on BBC’s ‘The Comedy Underground’, supported Tom Stade on tour, and co-created the online (Scottish Comedy Award-winning) sitcom ‘M.U.F.F.’ alongside Daniel Sloss and Craig Hill. His energetic style has earned him critical acclaim and an ever-growing loyal army of fans.

Connecting with his audience and finding humour in everyday life is at the heart of Joe’s comedy: “I wanted to write something that people could relate to and realise that we’re living the best way we can and that sitting in bed eating crisps for a whole day is completely fine sometimes.”

Joe will be bringing his show Life Advice That Won’t Change Your Life to London’s Leicester Square Theatre  on June 14th in advance of his August run with new show Lost at Ed Fringe.
