Designed as an antidote to loneliness in the capital, the fun-filled event celebrates platonic relationships and making new friends. Packing in high tech mini golf with delicious drinks and great vibes, it’s happening at Puttshack’s White City location on Thursday 13th February. Whether you’re actively looking to make some new mates or just keen to mingle with some friendly faces as an alternative to a romantic night out, this event is the perfect alternative to Valentine’s and focuses on the joyfulness and fun that’s found in making new friendships.
With Londoners experiencing loneliness more than those in the rest of the UK*, the time couldn’t be better for opportunities to forge new friendships – the driving force behind The FriendZone, whose social gatherings aim to help residents of the city connect with strangers in lively, sociable settings. Alongside the signature FriendZone experience — complete with games, minglers, and great vibes, the FriendZone x Puttshack ticket includes a complimentary round of mini-golf on one of Puttshack’s iconic high-tech courses and a special, limited edition cocktail, The Ice Breaker, on arrival. Attendees can get in the swing of it and bond with their new pals over friendly competition and fun challenges throughout the evening. And to make sure that nobody feels left out, The FriendZone has worked with dedicated neurodiversity consultant Charlotte Marian Pearson to ensure the event is as inclusive and accessible as possible for attendees with neurodivergence, social anxiety, and other unique challenges.
Puttshack’s innovative game play technology rewards automatic points and incorporates electronic live leaderboards, intuitive gameplay, and trackable performance history on each of its colourful courses – from Shuffle Up and Ring of Fire to Beer Pong and the Prize Wheel, there’s fun to be had at every hole!
