Pre-loved fashion platform Thrift+ launches cash payouts

    THRIFT+ CASH PAYOUTS:

THE NEW NO-HASSLE WAY TO SELL PRE-LOVED FASHION

Pre-loved fashion platform Thrift+ is thrilled to unveil its latest feature: cash payouts.

Customers now have the brand new option to receive monthly earnings for every garment they sell via Thrift+, adding even more convenience to the Thrift+ experience.

Unlike traditional listings sites, Thrift+ is committed to simplifying the process of buying and reselling pre-loved clothing. With just a few clicks, customers can order a prepaid postage envelope containing a Thrift+ Bag, fill the bag with up to 25 items of clothing, and send it back. From there, the Thrift+ team takes care of everything – sorting, photographing, listing, and pricing each item. Once sellers have accumulated a balance of £5 from their items, they can start receiving monthly cash payouts.

“We’re delighted to be supercharging our zero-hassle wardrobe clearout service, by offering cash payouts to our sellers.” says Joe Metcalfe, founder of Thrift+. “We hope it encourages even more people who don’t have the time or energy to list on traditional resale sites to trust Thrift+ to recirculate their unwanted clothes. This is an important step on our mission to end fashion waste.”

In line with the Thrift+ drive for circularity, customers can still use their earnings towards buying pre-loved fashion on the platform or donate the money to a charity of their choice, but the new earnings feature means individuals can now receive cash directly into their bank account on a monthly basis.

Thrift+ has already received overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers who have had the opportunity to test out the new feature with many praising the simplicity and ease of the process.

To experience the convenience of Thrift+ and take advantage of the new cash payouts feature, customers can visit Thrift.plus/Clearout to order their prepaid postage bag and start earning.

    HOW IT WORKS:

    • Order a prepaid postage bag at Thrift.plus/Clearout
    • When it arrives, fill the bag with up to 25 items of clothing
    • Send back the bag and Thrift+ will check the quality, photograph, list and price items
    • Customers will be notified when items sell and can start receiving monthly cash payouts directly into their bank account as soon as a minimum of £5 has been earned
