EXPERIENCE ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME WINES BY-THE-GLASS WITH THE CORAVIN WORLD WINE TOUR

    • Coravin – the global leader in wine preservation – has launched a World Wine Tour, making exceptionally rare fine wines available by-the-glass – at half the expected price
    • Guests at participating restaurants, including City Social, Moor Hall, Chewton Glen & Medlar Restaurant will be able to book a Coravin World Wine Tour experience throughout the month of May
    • Coravin’s unique technology enables a non-coring needle to pass through the cork, extracting the wine and replacing it with argon gas, allowing the wine to stay fresh for months or even years
    • The Coravin World Wine Tour menus will be open to anyone booking tables at participating restaurants in May, with a second series planned for September

Coravin, the global leader in wine preservation, has launched a World Wine Tour, which will make exceptionally rare fine wines available by-the-glass in selected restaurants across the UK – at half the expected price.

The World Wine Tour, which is the next step in Coravin’s mission to revolutionise the way the world drinks wine, will launch on 1st May with a series of month-long menus of seriously sought-after wines, which would never normally be available by-the-glass. A range of celebrated & Michelin-starred restaurants across the UK will be taking part:

    • City Social, the Michelin-starred London restaurant at Tower 42 from Jason Atherton
    • Medlar Restaurant on London’s King’s Road.
    • The 2 Michelin-starred and Michelin Green Starred Moor Hall Restaurant with rooms from Mark Birchall in the countryside of West Lancashire
    • The Dining Room at five-star country house hotel Chewton Glen in Hampshire

The May menus will include an ex-chateau release of one of the world’s best-known clarets; a boutique production of vintage Blanc de Blancs Champagne; an exquisite German wine from the producer of the world’s most acclaimed Rieslings; a Monopole single vineyard Barolo from a real rising star of the region; and, a very special Tokaj wine from Hungary’s most revered winemaker. Prices and measures will vary, dependent on the venue, but with 50ml tasters of certain wines available for under £20, and others at over £100 for a 125ml glass, there will be something to suit wine lovers on every budget!

Guests at any of the participating venues will be able to book The Coravin World Wine Tour menu throughout the month of May, with a second series planned for September.

Coravin inventor and founder Greg Lambrecht commented: “Coravin is trusted by professionals around the world to preserve wine for weeks, months and even years which means together we can help people explore the world of wine.  We are very proud to be

launching this programme in venues all over the world in May, facilitating rare and memorable experiences for wine lovers.”
