National Dog Day | London hotel launches luxury room service for dogs

This August, to celebrate National Dog Day on Monday, August 26th, Kimpton Fitzroy London is rolling out the red carpet for its four-legged guests with an unparalleled in-room fine-dining experience. The new offering comes as the latest research reveals that over the past 4 years there has been a 28% rise in people looking for pet friendly holidays across the UK*.

Throughout August, canine companions staying with their owners can savour gourmet meals crafted by luxury dog food company, Marleybones.

Marleybones, a pioneering London-based dog food company, is transforming the pet food industry with its fresh, home-cooked meals tailored for modern lifestyles. Founded in 2020 by Josephine Rode Bager and Mikala Skov, Marleybones emerged from a personal mission to improve canine health and happiness. The inspiration came when Josephine’s dog, Marley, experienced digestive issues, prompting the need for a healthier, more sustainable food solution.

The exclusive menu features three superfood meals sure to please even the most refined canine palates:

  • Chic Nosh Chicken & Chicken Treats
British chicken 60%, carrots, peas, broccoli, sage, quinoa, chia seeds, linseeds, hemp seeds, seaweed, chicory root, yucca

  • Lush Nosh Lamb & Lamb Treats
British Lamb 60%, carrots, sweet potato, broccoli, rosemary, quinoa, chia seeds, linseeds, hemp seeds, seaweed, chicory root, yucca

  • Boss Nosh Beef & Beef Treats

This new canine culinary offering further solidifies Kimpton Fitzroy London’s reputation for being the ultimate pet-friendly haven. Known for its pet inclusivity, the hotel has welcomed a wide array of animals, including rabbits, birds, and cats, all at no extra charge. Every pet is treated like royalty, with amenities such as plush pet beds, food and water bowls, and personalised mats.

“We believe that pets are family and deserve the same level of luxury and comfort as their human counterparts,” says Garreth Walsh, General Hotel Manager at Kimpton Fitzroy London. “Our new fine dining menu for dogs is just one of the many ways we make every guest feel special.”

Josephine Rode Bager, co-founder of Marleybones, comments: “At Marleybones, we’re thrilled to partner with Kimpton Fitzroy London to bring our gourmet, pantry-fresh meals to their distinguished canine guests.
