Irish electronic artist Mount Palomar is set to launch a new monthly residency at XOYO London, commencing on Saturday, 6th September, with a genre-smashing lineup that brings together cutting-edge artists from across Europe and the UK.

The debut night features Rhyw, the Berlin-based founder of Fever AM and one of the most respected names in leftfield techno, headlining the main room. Support comes from rising Scottish selector and producer LWS and fellow Irish talent Nikki O, whose sets blend sharp-edged club rhythms with emotional weight.

The new series, titled “Palomar Presents,” marks a significant milestone for Mount Palomar. Regarded as one of the most boundary-pushing electronic artists to come out of Ireland, Palomar’s musical journey has been anything but conventional. His second-ever live gig was at the world-renowned Berghain, and within a year he had performed across all of the club’s floors, including Panorama Bar and Lab.oratory, a rare achievement for any artist, let alone one at the start of their career.

“When I launched Mount Palomar, for the first few years I exclusively played live in clubs, and anytime I wasn’t playing, I was on the dancefloor, enjoying the collective sense of euphoria and freedom that is unique to an authentic club night. When I eventually made my way behind a set of decks, the buzz of getting to curate and build the atmosphere via track selection had me hooked, pretty much straight away.

To now get such a unique opportunity, combining choosing tracks for my sets with choosing the acts who I get to share the night with, is pretty much a dream come true.

XOYO has hosted some iconic line-ups over the years and, via ‘Palomar Presents’, I aim to build on that foundation and bring some of the most exciting electronic talents to Shoreditch, for a monthly series that is credible clubbing, done right.” – Mount Palomar

Palomar brings that same fearless, genre-blurring approach to his own shows. His recent singles have garnered playlist support on BBC Radio 6 Music, including ‘L’Aliment’ with Karla Chubb of Dublin punk band Sprints, and the follow-up collaboration with Makeshift Art Bar, ‘Pass The Parcel,’ which drew acclaim for fusing Detroit electro with raw Irish post-punk energy.

Alongside recent high-profile support slots with Underworld, Overmono, Joy Orbison and Ibibio Sound Machine, this XOYO residency sees Mount Palomar cement his place as a key voice in UK and Irish electronic music. One that thrives on risk, collaboration and the unexpected.

XOYO’s residency programme has long been a defining feature of the London club scene, offering artists a rare platform to shape nights on their terms. Over the years, the Shoreditch club has hosted a diverse range of influential acts, including Bicep, Ben UFO, The Blessed Madonna, Honey Dijon, Andy C, DJ Harvey, Goldie, Interplanetary Criminal, Skream, Erol Alkan, and many more. Now, Mount Palomar joins that legacy, bringing his bold vision to one of the capital’s most respected booths.

Future Palomar Presents dates at XOYO are scheduled for the first Saturday of every month, including 4th October, 8th November and 6th December.

Tickets for the launch party are available now via ra.co/events/2217335.
