To celebrate World Wetlands Day (2 February 2025), WWT London is inviting nature-lovers to claim a free admission ticket to explore its wetlands, anytime from Friday 31 January to Friday 7 February.

Visitors to WWT London can claim a free ticket by entering a valid email address when booking online here.

Alexia Hollinshead, General Manager at WWT London, said: “Wetlands are inspiring spaces that quiet the noises of everyday life and create a world where amazing things can happen.

“It’s our mission at WWT to restore these wonderful places and give people a better connection to nature.

“This World Wetlands Day, we hope many people will make the most of this great opportunity to get lost in nature and unlock the superpowers of wetlands for themselves.”

Research has shown that just ten minutes in a wetland setting, like a marsh, lake or river, is enough to boost your mood, and WWT London boasts more than 100 acres of wide-open spaces brimming with wetland wildlife.

Aside from the mood-boosting benefits that come with spending time in wetlands, however, WWT London offers six hides for visitors to get even closer to the action as well as regular events to enjoy, including daily otter talks and creative workshops.

Plus, an adventure playground, sound garden and mud kitchen for little adventurers to splash, explore and play, as well as a Discovery Centre where visitors of all ages can learn more about nature’s wonders through interactive games and hands-on learning.

For those that aren’t able to visit WWT London in person, the centre will share the sights and sounds of its wetlands digitally on its website and social media channels here, and @wwtlondon on X, Facebook and Instagram, respectively.
