Juice celebrates sustainability milestone and introduces new wellness initiative for 2024

Tech accessories brand Juice is more committed to growing its sustainable and wellness initiatives in 2024 than ever before.

The Banbury based firm has consistently pushed its ‘Juice Made Mindfully’ campaign over the last three years, saving a grand total of 261 tonnes of plastic during this time – including 109 tonnes in 2023 alone.

In addition to its sustainability efforts, Juice prides itself on actively encouraging wellness and mindfulness amongst its staff. Founder and CEO, Jolyon Bennett, promotes a healthy lifestyle and as a yoga enthusiast himself, introduced free yoga classes for all employees in 2022.

This year, the company is going one step further with the launch of its new ‘Flourish’ initiative, consisting of different activities and events designed to improve the health and wellbeing of all Juice employees.

From this month, a local yoga business will host classes three times a week in Juice’s on-site yoga studio, which is currently being renovated, while employees will trial a number of other classes including martial arts, HIIT training and boxercise – one of which will be introduced on a weekly basis.

In addition, Juice will be inviting an expert speaker to its Banbury HQ once a month to discuss topics focused on health, fitness, culture and wellbeing, whilst providing lunch from a different local plant-based/nutrient dense food vendor at each of these events.

Juice founder and CEO, Jolyon Bennett, commented: “Last year was our most accomplished year to date – not only did we introduce a number of amazing products to market, retaining our position as market leader in the UK for the third year in a row, but we really saw our ongoing sustainability efforts come to fruition – with the latest statistics to prove it!

“Everything we do here at Juice is for the consumer – but this wouldn’t be possible without our incredible, hardworking team. I strongly believe that for employees to stay motivated, they should feel good both mentally and physically, and this is something that all businesses should take the time and effort to promote and instil.

“Our free yoga sessions have been well received since they were first introduced, so it just made sense to build on this and offer even more opportunities to make my staff feel good. The activities and events included in our Flourish initiative were chosen by them first-hand – so I listened! We look forward to rolling these out and seeing how much of a difference they make to life at Juice.”

The Juice Made Mindfully initiative was first introduced in 2022, resulting in Juice becoming the first mobile phone accessories manufacturer in the UK to remove all single-use plastic from its products. Following this, the trailblazing company began manufacturing every single one of its products from recycled materials collected from oceans, beaches and landfill sites, with the aim to reduce the amount of virgin plastic in the world whilst utilising recycled post-consumer waste.

Last year, Juice held almost 10% more of the overall charger market than it did in 2022, and more than a 20% increase of the market share for Lightning cables, making it the second most popular brand after Apple*.

Juice is launching a number of products over the coming months, including a new and improved audio range and an eco-conscious collection of tech accessories in partnership with a well-known charity.
