Based in the heart of London’s Shoreditch, Fire + Alchemy is an alternative wellness and spiritual sanctuary, dedicated to helping people to heal and empower themselves, embrace radical self-love, and explore new self-development and spiritual tools.

Fire + Alchemy provides a wide range of the highest quality spiritual experiences that are easily accessible, in a safe and trusted environment guided by over 75 of the best practitioners in the industry, with community space, resources, and supporting wellness products, all designed to nourish the physical body, mind, soul, and the need for connection.

The first-floor retail space houses a coffee shop and London’s first Sacred Cacao Bar offering both the traditional range of brews, herbal teas made from their herb pantry including blue lotus tea, and a range of different ceremonial grade cacao options, meticulously curated, blending premium cacao with herbs, spices, and botanicals to create elixirs that nourish the body, mind, and soul. These include a stunning “Dolce” (Sweet) Cacao option, a “Fire” Cacao option (a little spicy), a Blue Lotus (“Intuition by 8 Within) Cacao, a Minty (“Brilliance by 8 Within) Cacao and a Dark Cherry (“Happiness by 8 Within) Cacao, as well as the Signature “Naked” Cacao which can be fully customised. The cacao blends are sold ‘over the counter’ and on the shelves to take home. Fire + Alchemy hosts monthly cacao community hang-outs as well as several cacao ceremonies and events.

“The Sacred Cacao Bar reinforces the commitment to wellness, mindfulness, and social impact practices that Fire + Alchemy was established to serve. The Cacao Bar functions as a gathering space where the community can connect and nurture their bodies, minds + spirits,” says Rachel Drysdale, Founder.

The retail offering features a huge collection of ethically and locally sourced crystals, candles, incense, tarot and books, and a “Herb Pantry” full of organic herbs and resins for teas and ritual intent. All packaging, from coffee cups to packing tape, is either recyclable or biodegradable.

Additionally, the retail floor houses two 1:1 treatment rooms for reiki, astrology, tarot, human design, shamanic healing, crystal reading, and more.

The downstairs “Alchemy Studio” space offers a beautiful location for a diverse range of alternative wellbeing and self-development classes and workshops for beginner to advanced levels of practice.

Fire + Alchemy is known for being at the forefront of new and cutting-edge modalities, hosting a large selection of events from traditional meditations, yoga and mindfulness to immersive sound healing therapies and trainings (including gong and crystal bowls), group reiki healing, moon ceremonies, both

women’s and men’s circles, akashic record and past life workshops, cacao ceremonies, brand new breathwork practices, astrology and herb workshops, amongst others.

Fire + Alchemy has a large and carefully curated directory of over 75 “Alchemists”; practitioners who practice in everything from sound healing, Reiki and Sekhem (a traditional Egyptian form of energy healing), womb healing, herbology, trauma and rage release, astrology, tarot, psychic mediumship, shamanic healing, Kundalini and more.

Fire + Alchemy hosts several exclusive healing practices not offered elsewhere. These include:

    • Reiki with Astrological Transit Review (with Sade Jackson) – this combines energy healing with a detailed review of the participant’s current astrological transits meaning that healing can be specifically targeted to some of the challenges that the recipient is currently facing.
    • F+A is the only place offering 9D breathwork classes in London (with Lidiya) – This brand new type of immersive breathwork is cutting edge and combines a meditative, releasing somatic breathwork journey and brand new headphone technology. The tech brings binaural beats, subliminal messages, solfeggio frequencies, 432hz harmonic tuning, incredible music together with a guided breathwork journey. This is not for the faint-hearted and is designed to release limiting beliefs, past traumas and imprints. This is a journey unlike any other and participants have previously called classes “life-changing”.
    • Spinal Energetics + Breathwork (with Thalia) – This is a powerful combination of traditional breathwork and a new modality, Spinal Energetics, to move and realign energy, releasing stuck trauma or emotion.

Fire + Alchemy offers market-leading practitioner training diplomas in Energy Healing and Sound Healing, with a strong commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality training (in what can be an unregulated marketplace), empowering students with the comprehensive knowledge, practical skills, and professional credentials they need to excel in their healing practices and make a positive and safe impact on the wellbeing of those they work with or who attend their events.

Fire + Alchemy is built on three core values – kindness, connection and inclusivity.

    • “Our intention is to build a safe space for those looking for self-development, or exploring their spiritual wellbeing, wherever they are in their journey regardless of culture, religion, or race. This extends to how we employ our staff and partner with practitioners.
    • Fire + Alchemy is underpinned by connection. For some that may be the connection we have with ourselves and slowing down, being mindful. For others that may be exploring our purpose, or perhaps connecting back in with mother earth. It may look like psychic connection and developing that side of ourselves, or finding friendships and experiencing a genuine connection to a like-minded community.
    • Our aim is to treat everyone and everything we interact with, with fairness, support and compassion. This particularly means our interaction with the planet, and humanity and staying mindful of the impact our business has, including the wider supply chain of our products.”
