Humanscale has launched a colour palette expansion for the Float Mini table

Humanscale introduces six new colours to their Float Mini table

Humanscale, the leading brand in ergonomic design and manufacturing, has launched a colour palette expansion for the Float Mini table. The sit/stand table blends classic residential aesthetics with Humanscale’s renowned ergonomic design concepts to create a simple and compact solution ideal for both home and work environments.

The new colours take inspiration from the natural world; slate blue, forest green, stone grey, garnet burgundy, vapor grey and carbon black. The subtle hues have been designed to complement any space whether that be the office, ancillary work space, dedicated home office or work area in a bedroom or lounge.

The new natural and recyclable linoleum surface materials of Float Mini are wear-resistant, anti-static and anti-fingerprinting with a matte finish. The finish is produced from a very finely ground linoleum granulate created from pure oxidised vegetable linseed oil and natural pine rosin to which wood flour and colour pigments have been added. It is finished with a water-based, cross-linked acrylic finish that protects the surface while maintaining the special touch of linoleum.

Through the use of non-powered pneumatic cylinders, Float Mini encourages natural movement in users with the worksurface instantly gliding into a variety of heights without the need of a power source, ensuring workers can adjust it to their individual needs.

With sustainability at the forefront of Humanscale’s dedication and focus to design, all materials and finishes are carefully selected for their durability, beauty and ability to be recycled with ease. As standard in all Humanscale products, Float Mini does not utilise any Red List Chemicals, such as formaldehyde in its design. As well as the use of the new natural linoleum surface material, Humanscale also uses the renewable bamboo top for the work surface. Taking less than 10 years to replenish, bamboo is a more planet-friendly option as opposed to a traditional wood top.

While focusing on creating net positive products that leave the world better off, the Float Mini provides a warm aesthetic perfect for any casual space in the office or a work from-home setup without compromising durability.
