Sat 9 Mar – Italy vs Scotland: Stadio Olimpico

Interestingly, Stadio Olimpico in Rome ranks as the most popular Six Nations stadium, with a total capacity of 62,698 people. The stadium has welcomed numerous sporting events such as the Olympics, FIFA World Cup, and the Six Nations, as the unforgettable atmosphere is a beacon for sporting fanatics.

Sat 9 Mar – England vs Ireland: Twickenham

Despite being almost exclusively used for Rugby events, Twickenham ranked seventh in the study, with a popularity score of only 3.33/10.  Although the South-West London stadium has racked up an impressive 51.4k Instagram tags and has an average of 43k searches a month, it had the lowest amount of TikTok posts at only 1k. Twickenham is owned by the Rugby Football Union and has an impressive capacity of 82k. The stadium has hosted concerts for a long list of A-List performers such as Rihanna, Beyonce, Rolling Stoles, Eminem, Lady Gaga and many more!

Sun 10 Mar – Wales vs France: Principality Stadium

Cardiff’s Principality Stadium ranked fourth in the popularity study, scoring 5.19 out of 10. The stadium has racked up 70.4k Instagram tags, a moderate number of TikTok posts equating to over 3k videos, and 29.4k searches per month. Previously known as The Millennium Stadium, it’s the home to the Wales national rugby union team and is Wales’s largest arena. The venue boasts an innovative one-of-a-kind pitch design making it the perfect location to host world-renowned sporting events.
