Croydon, UK – Youth PWR, a non-profit organisation based in Croydon, London had the honour of hosting Sarah Jones, Member of Parliament for Croydon, during a recent visit to their office. The day was marked by engaging discussions, a tour of their vibrant workspace, and a luncheon that brought together key members of their team to share insights and future plans.

The visit began with a guided tour of their office, where Sarah experienced first-hand the energy and creativity that fuel Youth PWR’s mission. A standout feature of the tour was the Creative Digital Lab, home to their award-winning Creative Digital Media Programme. This innovative space has been instrumental in equipping young people with essential skills in media production, empowering them to explore career opportunities in the digital landscape.

During her tour, Sarah engaged in meaningful conversations with their team members, learning about their flagship initiatives and the transformative impact they have had on the lives of young people.

From skill-building workshops to groundbreaking outreach programmes, the breadth of their work was brought to life through personal stories and thoughtful discussions.

The visit concluded with a delicious luncheon featuring sandwiches, cheese boards, fresh fruits, and cakes. Around the table, their CEO, who led the discussion, emphasised the importance of Youth PWR’s work and shared their ambitious vision for the future.

“Our mission at Youth PWR is to empower young people to reach their full potential, equipping them with the tools and confidence they need to succeed,” said their CEO, Adeola Onigbanjo.

“Having Sarah Jones here today underscores the importance of collaboration and support from leaders who are equally committed to making a positive impact on our community. We’re incredibly grateful for her encouragement and look forward to building on this momentum.”

The visit was a powerful reminder of the vital role community leaders in London play in supporting organisations like Youth PWR.

Both her and Youth PWR’s dedication to the young people of Croydon and London inspires marginalised groups to continue striving for excellence in all that they do.
