Dog owners who love to spoil their four-legged friends can now treat their pets to a luxury meal of chef-crafted paella filled with prawns and even giant squid tentacles.

Fresh dog food brand Years.com has unveiled the first meal in its highly anticipated ‘Chef’s Collection’ and it’s a twist on a Spanish favourite – King Prawn & Giant Squid Paella.

Created with a gourmet flair, this limited edition handmade dish has been expertly crafted by Years’ Head Chef Luke Alkemade, whose impressive culinary background includes Michelin star restaurants, luxury yachts and product development for Charlie Bigham’s and M&S.

Working alongside veterinary nutritionists, the Years.com team has designed a complete meal that delivers 100% of a dog’s daily nutrition, while offering an elevated dining experience for the UK’s most pampered pooches.

The decadent dish features succulent king prawns and marinated giant squid tentacles on a bed of saffron-infused cauliflower rice, with fire-roasted piquillo peppers.

This meal is suitable for all life stages and, like all Years.com meals, is packed with fresh, whole food ingredients to support health and longevity – aligning with their mission to help dog owners enjoy more years with their beloved pets.

Only a limited number of Years’ King Prawn & Giant Squid Paella have been made. The meals are available to purchase online for £6.95 each: https://years.com/chefscollection

Commenting on the launch, Years.com’s CEO Darren Beale said: “We believe dogs deserve the very best, and that means meals that are not only nutritious but also exciting and satisfying.

“Our new ‘Chef’s Collection’ is all about elevating canine dining, using top quality ingredients and expert nutrition to support both health and happiness.

“Too many dogs are stuck eating the same old bland meals every day, with little thought given to their need for variety. We’re here to change that by providing meals that are delicious and designed to support gut microbiome diversity.

“Owners may never have considered feeding their dog a meal like this, but squid is rich in taurine, which supports heart health, while mussels and salmon provide a valuable source of Omega-3.

“The King Prawn & Giant Squid Paella is just the beginning – we have exciting plans ahead and can’t wait for dogs to experience this new level of dining.”

Years.com creates fresh wholefood meals that you can store in your cupboard, making it perfect for those who struggle with freezer space or love to travel with their dog. Each delivery also includes Breed Health+, which is designed to support different dog breeds.

Years’ mission is to give dog owners more years together with their dog through good canine nutrition. This aspiration is supported by independent consultant Dr. Mike Davies BVetMed CertVR CertSAO FRCVS, RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Clinical Nutrition.
