    • Guests are invited to a beer tasting like no other to explore the different tasting notes of some of London’s finest beers 135m above the Capital in honour of the famous beer festival, Oktoberfest 
    • Beer expert Mark Dredge will join guests to share his wealth of knowledge alongside fascinating stories from London’s beer industry 
    • The event runs for one weekend only from Saturday 30th of September until Sunday 1st of October with tickets on sale now.


    The lastminute.com London Eye has partnered with beer expert, Mark Dredge, to create a one-of-a-kind sky-high beer tasting experience in honour of the iconic German beer festival, Oktoberfest.  

    Taking place on Saturday 30th September and Sunday 1st October, to coincide with the last weekend of world’s biggest Volkfest in Munich, the tasting tours aim to educate and entertain guests with fascinating stories of London’s beer history as they as they experience 360-degree views of the city’s skyline. 

    Guests will be invited to join Mark aboard the beer pod to sample three local beers chosen specially by the beer expert, known for his bestselling book, The Beer Bucket List and appearances on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch.  

    Guests will be given Bavarian felt hats to wear as they snap their selfies while learning about the best of London beer. Each guest will be given themed stein to enjoy the beers in and take away as a free souvenir.    

    Imran Tauqir, General Manager at the lastminute.com London Eye, said: “We wanted to give beer fans in London the opportunity to mark the iconic German beer festival Oktoberfest but with a uniquely British twist. The lastminute.com London Eye is thrilled to be co-hosting a weekend of sky-high beer tasting with Mark and we’re proud to be showcasing London brewed beers. We can’t wait to invite Londoners and non-Londoners alike, onboard our beer pod to learn more about our city’s amazing breweries and taste some of their best offerings!” 

    Tickets for the beer tasting tours cost £45, but specific flight times must be purchased in advance from the website. Tickets go on sale from Wednesday 13th September and are available to purchase at https://www.londoneye.com/whats-on/events/oktoberfest/.
