Global technology distributor Westcon-Comstor has cut the ribbon on its new flagship London office, marking what the company called a "significant investment in the UK" and creating a central regional hub for its operations across Europe.
Located at St Martin’s Le Grand near St Paul’s Cathedral, the eco-friendly workspace brings Westcon-Comstor into its own central London premises for the first time, having previously shared office space in the city with parent company Datatec.
The 6,000-plus sq ft facility has been designed to support collaboration and growth while providing a modern and flexible environment for employees and visitors. It will serve as the centrepiece of Westcon-Comstor’s activities across the European region.
The investment reflects Westcon-Comstor’s long-term commitment to the UK market and strengthens its ability to bring together channel partners and technology vendors in "one of the world’s leading business and financial centres."
Sustainable Design and Hybrid Collaboration
Designed around the needs of a hybrid workforce, the office includes a 22-seat boardroom, flexible training and meeting facilities, collaborative breakout spaces and hot-desking areas, creating a destination for workshops, enablement activities and briefings.
The facility has been specifically configured to support partner engagement while providing employees with a high-quality workspace in a central location.
The new office also supports Westcon-Comstor’s broader sustainability and ESG ambitions.
Planet-friendly features include a high-efficiency heat pump system, LED lighting with occupancy controls, demand-controlled fresh air distribution and extensive cycling, shower and locker facilities, helping to reduce environmental impact while encouraging more sustainable commuting.
Occupying space within a landmark building that dates back to 1925, the office combines contemporary workplace design with the heritage of one of London’s historic commercial districts.
Westcon-Comstor employs more than 500 people across the UK, with established sites in Bracknell, Cirencester and Swindon in addition to the new London office.
Rebura, the specialist AWS cloud consultancy that Westcon-Comstor acquired in 2024, has its own London premises at Hatton Garden, Holborn.
“London remains one of the world’s most important technology and business hubs, making this a strategic investment for Westcon-Comstor,” said David Grant, CEO at Westcon-Comstor. “As our business continues to evolve and grow, it’s essential that we have a dedicated space that reflects our ambitions and brings together employees, partners, vendors and other stakeholders in an environment designed for collaboration and innovation. This move represents a long-term commitment to the UK market, to our channel ecosystem and to creating meaningful opportunities for connection, engagement and growth.”
Financial Growth and Expansion Across the UK
Westcon-Comstor is a global technology distributor specialising in cybersecurity, networking and hybrid cloud solutions. With a presence spanning more than 50 countries, it drives innovation by connecting technology from the world’s leading IT vendors – including the likes of AWS, Cisco, CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks – with a channel of resellers, systems integrators and service providers.
By combining data-driven intelligence, technical expertise and strong partnerships, Westcon-Comstor empowers channel partners to seize opportunities and achieve sustainable growth. It goes to market through three lines of business: Westcon, Comstor and Rebura.
In May the company announced strong financial results for the year ended 28 February 2026, with growth in sales and profitability and further margin expansion, driven by its transition to software and services-led repeatable business.
Gross sales increased 9.6% year-on-year to US $5.74 billion, while gross profit rose 13.1% to $499.2 million. Gross margin improved to 25.8% (FY25: 23.5%), reflecting momentum in higher-value areas.
Adjusted EBITDA grew 15% to $172.4m, with adjusted EBITDA margin rising to 8.9% (FY25: 8.0%).
The results reflect sustained progress against Westcon-Comstor’s strategic priorities, including continued expansion of its cybersecurity business.
Meanwhile, the company recently announced progress against its sustainability targets, reporting a 42% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions since 2022 alongside increased renewable electricity usage.
Renewables now account for 54% of Westcon-Comstor’s global electricity consumption, moving the distributor closer to its target of sourcing all electricity from renewable sources by the end of the decade.
