Main Capital Partners enters the UK market with acquisition of Orgvue

Main Capital Partners and Orgvue, a trusted international provider of Strategic Workforce Management software, have announced that Main has acquired a majority stake in Orgvue. The transaction marks Main’s first platform investment in the UK. Together with the management team, Main will support Orgvue in its next phase of growth, with a focus on continued product innovation, further international expansion, deeper enterprise customer penetration, and selective strategic add-on acquisitions.

Headquartered in London, with offices across North America, EMEA and APAC, Orgvue supports large global enterprises in designing, planning, and optimising their workforces through its mission-critical cloud-based platform. Supported by a team of approximately 250 professionals, Orgvue serves close to 200 global enterprise customers, including organisations such as HM Government, Mars, Danone and Aviva. In addition, Orgvue has established relationships with more than 50 globally active consulting firms, which leverage its platform in strategic workforce transformation and organisational planning activities.

    Accelerating Enterprise Workforce Planning

The Strategic Workforce Management software market is supported by attractive long-term structural growth drivers, including the increasing need for continuous workforce planning at the enterprise level. As organisations navigate increasingly dynamic and complex operating environments and evolving workforce requirements, the ability to continuously understand, model, optimise, and monitor organisational workforce structures is becoming increasingly important. Orgvue is well positioned to benefit from these trends through its proprietary data model, scalable cloud-native technology platform and deep domain expertise.

Main and Orgvue both share the ambition to further strengthen Orgvue’s position in the global Strategic Workforce Management software market. The next phase of growth will focus on accelerating product innovation, further expanding internationally, deepening penetration within the enterprise customer base, and pursuing selective strategic add-on acquisitions to broaden Orgvue’s product capabilities and widen its international market reach.

Leadership Welcomes Next Phase of Growth

Sjoerd Aarts, Managing Partner and Head of Benelux & UK at Main, stated: "Orgvue has established a strong position in the international Strategic Workforce Management software market, combining deep domain expertise with a scalable, cloud-native technology platform. The company operates in a market supported by compelling structural growth trends, as continuous workforce planning becomes increasingly important for large enterprises. We see significant potential to further strengthen Orgvue’s position and look forward to supporting Oliver and the wider management team in the company’s next phase of growth."

Oliver Shaw, CEO of Orgvue, added: "We are delighted to welcome Main as our new majority shareholder. Orgvue has built a strong position by helping some of the world’s largest organisations and globally active consulting firms navigate complex workforce and organisational challenges. Main’s deep software expertise, international network and experience in supporting ambitious growth strategies make them a strong partner for our next chapter. Together, we look forward to accelerating product innovation, expanding our international reach and delivering even greater value to our customers."
