With the price of a pint in London reaching astronomical highs of £10 in some pubs, Arsenal fans travelling to Prague ahead of Tuesday's Champions League league-phase fixture will be pleased to know that their European away day could prove significantly cheaper when it comes to enjoying a pint abroad.

Research from LiveScore analysed 31 European away trips across the nine Premier League clubs competing in Europe in 2026/27. Its European Away Day Pint Index priced pints at three fan-friendly bars in each destination to calculate the average cost for travelling supporters.

Across all clubs and destinations, the average European away-day pint costs £4.34.

Arsenal came second in the ranking, with travelling Gunners paying just £3.70 for a pint on average across their European away days. They were beaten only by Aston Villa, whose supporters face the cheapest average at £3.59 a pint, while Liverpool fans pay the most at £4.91.

The LiveScore Pint Index ranks the cost of a pint at every European away destination Premier League clubs visit in 2026/27, covering 31 away fixtures across Arsenal, Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Brighton, Crystal Palace, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Sunderland.

For each fixture, three supporter-friendly bars near the stadium, city centre or fan areas were priced using publicly available menus. Prices were converted to GBP at mid-market rates on 6 October 2026.
