School of Rock announces its second location in Bayswater

If your kids spend more time staring at phone screens or practising guitar in total silence than making actual music with their peers, then a fresh, energetic option is hitting West London this November.
School of Rock- the global music education phenomenon that swaps out solitary bedroom practice for playing in actual bands- is launching its second UK location in Bayswater, following a wildly successful debut in Twickenham, where the team picked up more than 280 students in just its first seven months.
Real Band Practice and Live Gigs
Unlike traditional after-school clubs where students practice in quiet rooms for an end-of-term school hall recital, School of Rock puts kids, from age eight all the way up to adults, straight into bands.
The formula combines weekly one-on-one instrument or vocal lessons with high-energy group rehearsals. The whole journey culminates in actual live gigs at real music venues, complete with professional staging, lighting, and a live crowd cheering them on.
Building Community and Life Skills
Local parents are already finding it a brilliant antidote to screen fatigue and a fantastic anchor for the local community. In neighbourhoods where after-school options can sometimes feel repetitive or academic, having a space dedicated entirely to creative expression and teamwork fills a real gap. It gives children and teenagers a sense of belonging, turning what is often a quiet bedroom hobby into an unforgettable social adventure.
It goes much further than just learning chords, as participants build genuine teamwork skills, make lifelong friends, and gain an incredible sense of personal achievement that spills over into school, everyday life and beyond.
Ahead of the official opening, families across Bayswater, Notting Hill, and Paddington are warmly invited to check out what it's all about, meet the instructors, and experience the buzz firsthand.
If you want to head down, see the space, or sign up for a trial session, visit School of Rock Bayswater.
