New state of the art Kia showroom opens in North London

Alan Day Motor Group is set to officially open a new state-of-the-art multi-million-pound, 80,000 square -foot Kia facility in West Hendon on September 24th

With a capacity for more than 200 new and used vehicles, the site will set a new benchmark for customer choice, service, and convenience.

The development follows the acquisition of the Hummingbird Kia business in 2024 and reflects the need for a larger, more modern facility to support Kia's continued growth.

Celebrity guests  at the opening event include  former West Ham manager Alan Pardew England World Cup  rugby winner Ben Cohen, Saracens and England flanker Ben Earl, England hooker Theo Dan and Harlequins and England forward Chandler Cunningham-Smith. 

Designed to deliver a premium retail experience, the facility will offer an extensive vehicle selection alongside modern sales and aftersales services, reinforcing Alan Day's commitment to the Kia brand and customer service while maximising opportunities across the Group's extensive customer database.

The hi-tech workshop will feature 14 service ramps, multiple diagnostic bays, and the latest workshop technology, with a further 12 ramps planned for installation in early 2027.

The facilities at the Garrick Road site include quiet rooms, breakout areas, and dedicated training facilities.

The new business will also be the first KIA dealership to carry the Alan Day Motor Group branding, marking a significant milestone for the business, and also feature Kia’s award-winning commercial vans ( KIA PBV).

The investment will enable the business to provide industry-leading levels of customer service, minimise waiting times, and ensure KIA customers receive the highest levels of support and care throughout their ownership journey.
