A new Italian restaurant is opening at Olympia this October, with a weekly line-up designed to give Londoners a reason to drop in throughout the week.
West London is getting a new Italian destination this autumn, and Juno is giving Londoners plenty of reasons to make a midweek visit.
Opening at Olympia’s National Hall on Friday 16 October, Juno will be the UK’s biggest Italian restaurant, spanning 11,500 sq ft and seating up to 500 guests. But while the scale is impressive, it’s the restaurant’s weekly programme that is likely to make it a regular fixture for locals, with everything from lasagne to bottomless gelato and Italian aperitivo built into the calendar.
Midweek Specials: Bottomless Gelato to Takeaway Lasagne
For those who like their Tuesday nights to come with a little more incentive, Nonna’s Lasagne Tuesdays sees every guest receive a second portion of lasagne to take home. Wrapped up with reheating instructions and a personal note from Nonna, it’s essentially dinner for tonight and tomorrow sorted.
Then there’s Gelatus Maximus, Juno’s answer to the mid-afternoon sweet treat. From 3 - 5 pm on weekdays, guests can get £5 bottomless gelato, with 15 toppings to choose from. It’s designed for everything from an after-work sugar fix to a casual catch-up, with no need to commit to a full meal.
For those heading out after work, Aperitivo Hour runs from 4 - 6pm, bringing Italian drinking culture to Olympia with classics including Negronis, Aperol Spritzes, Moscato and Poretti, alongside cicchetti. It also makes Juno an easy stop for an early evening drink before heading elsewhere in West London.
Neapolitan Pizza, Weekend Feasts, and Live Music
The weekday programme sits alongside a full Italian menu, covering everything from small plates and homemade pasta to Neapolitan pizza and classic secondi. Highlights include Tomato and Mozzarella Paccheri, Crab Linguine with hand-picked crab, chilli and vine-ripened cherry tomatoes, and Osso Buco alla Milanese with saffron risotto and gremolata.
Pizza is made in-house at Juno’s dedicated Pizza Napoletana counter, where diners can watch the dough being stretched, topped and baked to order. There’s also a suitably indulgent dessert line-up, including Tiramisù, Lemon Delizia and Juno’s showstopping Gelato Tower.
And the programming doesn’t stop during the week. Saturdays bring La Grande Festa, a long Italian lunch centred around sharing dishes, flowing Aperol Spritzes, limoncello and live music from Juno’s in-house Italian band. Sundays take a more family-focused turn with La Famiglia, including a dedicated sharing menu, Sunday Porchetta and a complimentary kids’ meal for every adult ordering from the menu.
With a dedicated stage and DJ booth, Juno will also host live music and resident DJs as the day moves from relaxed lunches and afternoon aperitivo into livelier evenings.
Located at 50 Hammersmith Road, Juno will be open daily from midday until 11 pm Sunday to Thursday and 11.30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
So whether it’s a Tuesday night lasagne run, an after-work Aperol, a £5 gelato break or a Saturday lunch that turns into drinks, Juno is positioning itself as more than somewhere to go for dinner - it’s a new Italian hangout with something on the calendar for every day of the week.
Juno opens at Olympia’s National Hall on Friday 16 October.
