From Parmigiano Reggiano-filled British classics at Jamie Oliver Catherine St. to intimate supper clubs, literary evenings and creative workshops, a new series of experiences is bringing the cheese to some of London’s most exciting food and cultural spaces this autumn.
Parmigiano Reggiano is bringing a taste of something different to London this autumn, with a new collection of immersive food and cultural experiences available to book through Airbnb Experiences.
The launch comes as interest in Parmigiano Reggiano continues to grow in the UK. Import volumes reached 5.701 tonnes in 2026, up 11.8% compared with 2024 and 0.9% compared with 2025, when volumes stood at 5.650 tonnes. In 2024, import volumes stood at 5.099 tonnes, highlighting continued growth for Parmigiano Reggiano in the UK market.
Flagship dining at Jamie Oliver Catherine St
At the heart of the series is a new flagship dining experience at Jamie Oliver Catherine St. in Covent Garden. The restaurant team will create a bespoke menu that places Parmigiano Reggiano at the centre of the dining experience, exploring different maturations, textures and flavour profiles across both British and Italian-influenced dishes.
Guests will experience Parmigiano Reggiano both in its purest form and throughout the menu, with dedicated tasting moments exploring maturation, flavour and craftsmanship. Dishes currently being developed for the experience span everything from croquettes with 24-month Parmigiano Reggiano and Sardinian culurgiones with 36-month Parmigiano Reggiano, to chicken with 60-month Parmigiano Reggiano and a Parmigiano Reggiano crème brûlée.
Following the launch at Jamie Olive Catherine St., five public dinners, each welcoming up to 30 guests are available to book through Airbnb Experiences.
The London series will also see Parmigiano Reggiano feature within a curated selection of bookable Airbnb Experiences across the city, each offering a different way to enjoy and discover the cheese.
Låpsley x Caroline East will bring food, music and storytelling together for an intimate supper club series. Caroline will create a menu with Parmigiano Reggiano at its heart, while British artist and producer Låpsley will explore the stories behind the cheese through conversation, music and performance.
Soho Reading Series with Tom Willis will take Parmigiano Reggiano beyond the dinner table, pairing tastings with literature and conversation. The series will explore themes of youth, identity and maturity to draw parallels with the different maturation periods of Parmigiano Reggiano. Writers and speakers will bring each theme to life through readings and discussion, accompanied by Parmigiano Reggiano tastings and considered food and wine pairings.
Artist Laxmi Hussain will offer a more creative take, bringing together art, food and storytelling in an evolving still-life experience. Guests will taste different maturations and formats of Parmigiano Reggiano, explore unexpected pairings and contribute to an ever-changing tablescape by drawing onto cascading rolls of paper.
The London experiences are part of Parmigiano Reggiano’s wider international programme, following experiences in Paris and New York. The series explores the cheese in unexpected settings, encouraging people to discover its different maturations, flavours and versatility beyond its familiar role in the kitchen.
Following its launch in Paris this summer, where experiences included pasta making, French baking and a flagship artist-led atelier, the series travelled to New York with chef-led dining, Brooklyn supper clubs and a game-day experience inspired by Parmigiano Reggiano’s official partnership with the New York Jets.
Now, London brings its own character to the series, combining food, music, literature and art with the craftsmanship and heritage of Parmigiano Reggiano.
‘Parmigiano Reggiano has always been a product shaped by craft, heritage and time,’ said Carmine Forbuso, Head of Marketing at Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium. ‘London gives us the opportunity to explore these qualities in new and unexpected ways, bringing Parmigiano Reggiano into the world of British food, music, literature and art. We hope these experiences inspire people to discover the cheese in a different way, whether they are tasting a new maturation, enjoying it as part of a dish or simply sharing it with friends.’
The London launch completes Parmigiano Reggiano’s three-city experience series for 2026.
