MOTH, one of the UK’s fastest-growing RTD brands, selling one can every four seconds, has partnered with Dishoom’s Permit Room to create MOTH: Rani Mojito – the first-ever twist on the MOTH: Mojito.
Available for £9 across all Permit Rooms throughout October, the cocktail is made on site using MOTH: Mojito and Dishoom-made cardamom vermouth.
A Cardamom Twist on the Classic Mojito
Bombay’s monsoon season closes. The city heats up. Enter the Rani Mojito – juicy, bittersweet and fragrant with cardamom, known as the queen of spices (Rani means queen).
A juicy elixir. Award-winning Duppy Share rum. Zesty-zingy lime and mint. Fragrant with the Rani (queen) of spices: Dishoom-made cardamom vermouth. High regality.
Ali Mather, the Head of On-Trade at MOTH, said: “We’ve never created a twist on our Mojito before and this collaboration felt like a brilliant opportunity to do something different with Dishoom Permit Room. We love the way they’ve taken a MOTH cocktail and made it their own. It’s playful, full of flavour and feels completely at home on their menu.”
Dishoom Permit Room is Dishoom’s all-day bar-café, inspired by the permit rooms, beer bars and drinking holes of Bombay. With locations in Brighton, Cambridge, Oxford and on Portobello Road, the newest Permit Room has just landed in Liverpool.
Laura Simonelli, leading Bar Operations and Development for Dishoom and Permit Room, said: “MOTH is a natural partner for us. There’s a shared sense of fun in both brands and the Rani Mojito is a lovely expression of that. We’re excited to have it on the menu for October and to give our guests a new way to enjoy a classic Mojito.”
MOTH: Rani Mojito is available exclusively at all Dishoom Permit Room locations for £9 throughout October. MOTH: Mojito, alongside the full MOTH range, is available to buy at mothdrinks.com.
