Little Moons Strawberry Matcha Latte Flavour boxes

The wait is finally over: after more than 28,000 requests from its TikTok followers, Little Moons is bringing its most requested flavour ever to the freezer aisle: Strawberry Matcha Latte Mochi Ice Cream.

Strawberry matcha has officially gone from niche favourite to the flavour of the moment, and in true Little Moons style the brand has taken the combination and made it into a snack of dreams. Think velvety matcha ice cream, pops of real strawberry pieces and a soft strawberry mochi dough coating, all coming together to recreate the creamy, fruity balance of your favourite strawberry matcha latte - in one perfectly bite-sized mochi.

With Strawberry matcha such a big hit in everything from food to fashion and beauty, Little Moons’ community has been asking for it in a big way, with more than 28,000 strawberry matcha requests and relentless pleads flooding in across socials. So, naturally, Little Moons listened. The result is a delicately balanced take on the flavour: mild notes of matcha softened by creamy sweetness, while pops of real strawberry add juicy bursts of freshness. It’s all wrapped in strawberry mochi dough for an extra layer of fruit-forward sweetness.

The mochi is expected to have instant appeal - whether you’re already obsessed with matcha or still waiting to find your way into the matcha world.

And the strawberry matcha takeover doesn’t stop at the freezer aisle. Little Moons is also launching a brand-new Strawberry Matcha Cheesecake dessert, landing at Yo Sushi from 9th September before making its way to other major sushi restaurants including Itsu shortly afterwards.

Strawberry Matcha Latte Mochi Ice Cream launches in Tesco from 8th September, with other major retailers including Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Morrison’s, Co-op and Ocado shortly afterwards. The limited-edition pack contains six mochi, which are gluten free, with just 65 calories per mochi, and an RRP of £5.00. Strawberry Matcha Cheesecake will be available from 9th September in all UK Yo Sushi restaurants followed by other major sushi restaurants including Itsu & kiosks shortly afterwards.
