LCCA Fest 2026 Brings Emerging Creative Talent to London Fashion Week

In September, London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA) presented LCCA Fest 2026, a showcase of emerging creative talent which took place at The Vinyl Factory in Soho on Friday 18 September 2026, during London Fashion Week.

LCCA Fest was included on the British Fashion Council's London Fashion Week official schedule listings.

The one-day, industry-facing event brought together graduating talent across Fashion, Graphic Design and Computer Games Art, combining a curated graduate exhibition, live fashion show, industry sessions and networking reception.

The event brought emerging creatives together with fashion and creative industry professionals, employers, collaborators, alumni and media, creating opportunities for talent discovery, recruitment, partnerships and future creative collaborations.

    New generation of creative talent

At the heart of LCCA Fest was a curated showcase of student work across Fashion, Graphic Design and Computer Games Art, reflecting the increasingly interconnected nature of contemporary creative practice.

Students presented throughout the event and discussed their work with guests, providing direct opportunities for industry professionals to discover emerging talent.

The evening culminated in a live fashion show featuring selected graduating fashion designers and recent graduates, presenting a curated selection of student looks on the runway.

    Industry meets emerging talent

LCCA Fest welcomed an audience of fashion, design and creative industry professionals, with representatives from leading brands and organisations in attendance.

The event’s industry focus reflects LCCA’s ambition to create meaningful connections between emerging creative talent and the industries they are preparing to enter, from potential employment and placements to collaborations and longer-term partnerships.

Where fashion, design and games meet

LCCA Fest brought together three creative disciplines – Fashion, Graphic Design and Computer Games Art – within a single industry-facing showcase.

The event demonstrated the increasingly fluid boundaries between creative disciplines, highlighting the ways in which fashion, visual communication, digital creativity, technology and gaming intersect within contemporary creative practice.

    Pinterest x LCCA industry programming

The daytime programme included a series of industry and subject-specific sessions designed to give students further opportunities to engage with creative professionals.

The programme included a Pinterest × LCCA Industry Talk, alongside programme sessions focused on Fashion, Graphic Design and Computer Games.

    Creative industry exposure

LCCA Fest reflects LCCA’s practice-led approach to creative education, combining academic study with professional practice, industry engagement and employability. Within a highly competitive and challenging graduate employment landscape, the need for combining education and industry experience has never been more important.

Through industry partnerships, live briefs, workshops and access to practising creative professionals, LCCA aims to equip students with the creative, technical and professional skills needed to progress into the contemporary creative industries. Modern courses must arm students with valuable professional knowledge to impress prospective employers, and create competitive advantage to support them in securing top graduate jobs.

Lucy London, Academic Dean of Creative Industries, commented: “I am so proud to be able to bring together bring together education and the world of industry, to create what I like to call, ‘Edustry’. A large part of succeeding in the workplace is creating valuable connections and networking – ‘soft skills’ which are regularly overlooked at undergraduate level. So often students are thrown into the workplace with very little professional exposure or idea of how to navigate their chosen industry, which can be a real disadvantage and can hold them back.”

She added, “With the current challenges facing graduates and the increasingly competitive job market, I believe it’s more important than ever that professional preparation is embedded within creative education. Students need more than just talent; they need to understand how to present themselves, communicate professionally and approach an industry brief with confidence. Those first impressions can make a real difference when it comes to securing the creative opportunities they want. I’m passionate about ensuring that every student has the opportunity to develop their skills, build their confidence and understand what it takes to progress into the industry. My aim is to give our students the practical experience, professional insight and confidence they need to build a career they are genuinely passionate about.”

LCCA Fest provided a platform for graduating students to take that work beyond the classroom and present it directly to the people shaping the industries they aspire to enter.
