Meet Dor Bukobza, founder of Waldor, a luxury aesthetics clinic in Fitzrovia, London, created with one priority at its heart: the client experience.

Dor is a businessman who thinks carefully about the details, but there is one thing that sits above everything else at Waldor: the client experience. That philosophy shaped the clinic long before the first client walked through its doors.
Dor designed Waldor himself, making decisions on everything from the chandelier and bar to his own office and the treatment rooms. Nothing was chosen simply to make the clinic look impressive. He wanted to change how people feel when they visit an aesthetics clinic.
For Dor, walking into an aesthetics clinic shouldn’t feel cold, overly medical or intimidating. His vision for Waldor was closer to arriving at a private wellness retreat: somewhere you could leave the noise of London outside, settle in and genuinely relax before your treatment.
It’s something clients notice as Dor regularly hears clients say they became almost too relaxed during their visit. They talk about the atmosphere, the surroundings and how different Waldor feels from the clinical environments they had expected.
Because Waldor was never supposed to be somewhere you simply arrive, have a treatment and leave. He wanted to create a place where people felt looked after from the moment they stepped through the door.
From Humble Beginnings to Central London
Dor came from humble beginnings. His journey into business wasn't straightforward, and success wasn't something that arrived overnight.
He learned the hard way: through experience, setbacks and having to keep moving when things didn't go according to plan. It gave him a determination that still shapes the way he runs Waldor today.
Perhaps that also explains why a photograph of Dor thousands of feet in the air, about to jump from a plane, doesn't feel completely out of character.
There is a certain mentality required to step towards the edge when everything in you knows it would be easier to stay where you are.
Dor has brought some of that same mentality into business: prepare carefully, pay attention to the details, trust what you've built and when the moment comes, take the leap.
Today, the polished surroundings of Waldor might look a long way from those humble beginnings.
But behind the chandelier, the bar, the treatment rooms and every carefully considered detail is the same idea that started it all: making every client look genuinely looked after is what Waldor is really about
