Sybron and Lime Sustainable Supplies announce joint venture

Sybron, a leading supplier of cleaning, hygiene and catering products to some of the largest names in UK hospitality, and B Corp-certified Lime Sustainable Supplies (LSS), a data-driven supply chain business, have established a partnership to bring unrivalled service, support and sustainability initiatives to the cleaning supplies market.

Sybron customers in the hospitality sector will benefit from LSS’s advanced data-driven sustainability modelling, whilst LSS’s customers will enjoy Sybron’s best-in-class operational support from its new HQ and warehousing at the Icon in Harlow, Essex, and its northern depot in Stafford.

The two businesses are highly complementary, offering the very best sustainability initiatives, including lifecycle assessments and carbon footprint measurement, with data-driven business reporting.

Expanded Logistics and Operational Infrastructure

Sybron's new Harlow HQ is over 70,000 sq ft, including a two-storey, Grade A specification office building. There are six dock-level loading doors, two level-access doors, a 50m-deep secure yard, designed for efficient HGV movement, 12.5m height for improved storage capacity and parking for over 40 cars. The HQ and distribution centre has been built in line with the company’s commitment to sustainability, with LED lighting throughout, air-source heat pumps, EV charging and PV solar panel capability.

This major development follows Sybron’s management buyout last year and the opening of a second distribution centre in Stafford last November. The Stafford distribution centre has strengthened service levels by increasing delivery frequencies to Sybron’s growing number of national customers and offering more efficient support to key areas such as Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Nottingham, Sheffield, Derby and Leeds.
