OurHouse, the UK's leading group of London-focused family clubs that bring leisure lifestyle, co-working and childcare under one roof, is broadening its proposition for school-age children.
The group, which currently operates Jaego's House in Kensal Rise and Jesse's House in Parsons Green, is introducing a new programme spanning childcare, enrichment and tuition as it looks to evolve its offer and retain families for longer.
Expanded Childcare Proposition and London Expansion
At the centre of the expanded proposition is an Ofsted-registered Kids' Club for children aged five and above, offering after-school childcare alongside activities including sports simulators, construction workshops, science projects, arts and crafts and outdoor play. After-school collection from selected local schools will also be available at some locations.
For children aged eight and above, OurHouse is also introducing an Explorer Pass, designed to give older children greater autonomy within the clubs. Pass holders will be able to use cinema rooms, games areas and dedicated social spaces, alongside supervised fitness activities and classes.
Children aged four to 13+ will also have access to enrichment courses, individual academic tuition and school placement support, extending the role of the clubs beyond childcare and leisure.
Charlie Gardiner, founder of OurHouse, says: "The transition from baby and toddler to a fully-fledged family club is the part of OurHouse's growth I'm most excited about. We asked almost 200 families what they needed as their children grew up, and it wasn't more soft play. It was independence and structured programmes for older children and a little breathing room for parents. We're not interested in building a club that families grow out of. We're building one that grows up with them."
The programme launch comes as OurHouse prepares to expand its London estate, with three new houses set to open in 2027. Orly's House in East Sheen, Leo's House in Clapham and Olive's House in Chiswick are set to take the number of clubs from two to five.
Alongside the expansion, OurHouse is now introducing a new All Houses membership option, allowing members to move freely between the locations at their convenience.
