Property and asset management specialist Estama is expanding its London headquarters following three years of significant business growth.
The employee-owned company is relocating to larger premises at 74 Margaret Street in London's West End on 23rd November.
The move follows a period of expansion which has seen Estama's managed property portfolio grow from three million to 7.5 million sq ft since 2023, while employee numbers have increased by 65 per cent, from 49 to 81.
The company's growing portfolio includes the 1.2m sq.ft Festival Place in Basingstoke, the largest retail asset Estama has managed to date.
Estama's continued growth has prompted the move to larger London offices, where 35 employees will be based under a five-year lease.
The new headquarters will provide additional meeting rooms, breakout areas and improved staff facilities, including showers, as well as space to accommodate further growth as new management instructions are secured.
The company has chosen to remain in London's West End to maintain its proximity to clients and other property industry businesses, with convenient transport connections across the capital.
Investing in staff and growing client instructions
Eoin Conway, Managing Director of Estama, said: "We've experienced significant growth over the past three years, both in the size and complexity of the assets we manage and the number of people working across the business.
"Festival Place is a good example of the type of major asset we're now responsible for and the hands-on approach we bring to managing it.
"Our existing office has served us well, but we've reached the point where we need more space and better facilities to support the team.
"This move is about investing in our people as much as investing in the business. We want to provide an environment where colleagues have the space to collaborate, meet clients and work comfortably, while giving ourselves the flexibility to grow further."
Estama became employee-owned in 2023 and has since continued to expand its UK asset and property management operations.
The number of occupiers across its managed portfolio has increased from approximately 1,000 to 2,500, while annual footfall at the properties it manages has grown from 52 million to 105 million.
Estama has agreed a five-year lease on one floor at 74 Margaret Street, with RIB acting as agent.
The relocation comes as the company continues to pursue new asset and property management instructions across the UK.
