With operations in Hampstead, Basingstoke and Italy, Rosslynstone is a family-run company, headed up by Colin Wilkins whose long history as a supporting artist in films and TV led to the original partnership with BAFTA.

Now the company has expanded its BAFTA business to co-ordinate with a UK foundry as well as the marble bases which Rosslynstone manufactures. The company is also expanding its business to offer a wider story and incorporate exclusive gift boxes which can be tailor made for clients worldwide.

Colin has recently been joined in the business by his nephew Peter Dunne, who has a strong background in retail, production and quality control, working for over 35 years with major UK retailers. He also has extensive experience in patents, trademark and design registration regulations plus quality control procedures via testing houses.

With this incredible pedigree of Colin’s expertise in materials, production and quality control to deliver high-quality awards for premium clients coupled with Peter’s proven track record in innovation, Rosslynstone is now turning its attention to designing and manufacturing products outside of the current focus on awards.

Peter explains: “Awards remains at the centre of everything Rosslynstone does – it is who we are as a business, with 45 years’ experience delivering high-quality awards for clients across various sectors and this is something we are keen to continue expanding. BAFTA is our most notable client and we are extremely proud of that association.”

Expanding beyond awards into bespoke product design

The business has often been asked to explore product sectors outside of awards and the time is now right to do that says Peter. “We have a dedicated team on hand to help customers take an initial idea and make it a reality. We also manage the whole process from material sourcing, supply, QC, design and development, drawings to images and completion. These skills certainly lend themselves to other product areas – we have excellent materials suppliers and that allows us to explore lots of options, particularly in terms of sustainability and reuse.

“Our production story is very much an exciting process and journey – one we encourage customers to be a part of. Our UK-based foundries have many years of experience and produce all kinds of models, some more challenging than others! This is perfect as it helps us be creative and produce a work of art that brings our customers back time and time again.

“We encourage customers to get in touch, with an idea to share or a finished drawing for us to view. We would love to help!”
