Jaam automation has launched M. by jaam, an Agentic Work Management platform designed to bring people, existing business systems and AI agents together.
The launch comes as businesses increasingly adopt AI but continue to face challenges turning that investment into wider business impact. According to McKinsey research cited by jaam automation, 88% of organisations are now using AI, but only 7% have fully scaled it across their business.
The company says one of the biggest barriers is that business processes rarely sit within a single system. Instead, work, information and decisions are spread across employees, applications and different stages of a process.
This can make it difficult for AI agents to understand what needs to happen next — particularly as organisations begin asking AI to take on increasingly complex tasks.
Context Engines and Understanding How Work Gets Done
At the centre of M. by jaam is its Context Engine, which brings together information about an organisation, its knowledge and the work taking place both now and over time.
The platform is designed to understand how work moves through a business before AI is given greater responsibility. It can also learn from decisions, outcomes and patterns as work takes place, helping organisations identify opportunities for further automation.
Andrew Murphy, Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder at jaam automation, said businesses need to understand their own processes if AI is to take on more responsibility.
“Every organisation has its own processes, systems, people and ways of doing things. If we’re going to ask AI to take on more of that work, it needs to understand how the business actually works,” he said.
The platform is also designed to work alongside technology businesses already use, including Microsoft Azure AI, Copilot and Power Platform, as well as other business systems.
Businesses can use M. with AI agents they have already developed, meaning existing AI investments can be incorporated rather than replaced.
A Gradual Framework for Enterprise Orchestration
Rather than requiring businesses to hand entire processes over to AI, M. by jaam is designed around a gradual approach.
The platform takes organisations through five stages: Analyse, Build, Work, Intelligence and Optimisation.
This allows businesses to first understand their processes and information, support live work with the relevant context, identify risks and opportunities, and then determine where AI agents and automation could take on more responsibility.
The launch comes as organisations face a growing challenge in coordinating AI agents alongside employees and existing technology.
Gartner identified Universal Orchestration as an emerging enterprise challenge in February 2026, as businesses look to coordinate AI agents, bots and people across different systems and technology providers.
According to jaam automation, M. by jaam is intended to address this challenge by providing a way for businesses to coordinate people, systems and AI while gradually increasing the amount of work that can be automated.
The company says the ultimate aim is not simply to automate more tasks, but to allow AI to take responsibility for routine work while people remain focused on judgement, creativity and direction.
