Leading business bosses from across the City will do ‘time’ to raise funds for cancer support charity Maggie’s.

The ‘Jail or Bail’ event, taking place next week, will see participants ‘locked up’ 50 Storeys high at 8 Bishopsgate for a range of ‘crimes’ including.” “Excessive use of emojis in LinkedIn posts” and “…an inability to avoid a karaoke mic despite having absolutely zero singing ability…” until they have raised enough money to be released.

The ‘Jail or Bail’ event has been made possible with thanks to Maggie’s long-standing supporters Stanhope PLC.

8 Bishopsgate and Rhubarb Hospitality Collection have very kindly provided facilities and catering for the day.

The fundraiser will be held on Friday, November 15th, starting at 9am. Live updates will be posted on LinkedIn throughout the day, allowing friends and colleagues to follow along and contribute vital funds.

Justin Saunders, Founder and Director of JS Learning explains, “I’m doing this because I know the incredible work Maggie’s does in so many communities.  The difference the teams make to those who are suffering from or supporting those who have cancer is incredibly heart-warming.  I’m doing this in memory of my most wonderful and incredible sister-in-law, who wouldn’t forgive me if I didn’t jump at this opportunity to have so much fun and raise money at the same time”.

People can also support Maggie’s while also helping to free the ‘inmates’ by visiting the Jail or Bail Just Giving Page when it goes live on 15th November. A link will be available on the centre’s social media channels.
