Today, B&Q has announced the expansion of its trial with Deliveroo, adding five of its larger London stores, to give customers access to a bigger range of over 9500 products for on demand delivery in as little as 25 minutes. This follows the launch of the service from B&Qs smaller high street stores, B&Q Locals, in August 2024.

From today, customers local to Beckton, Sidcup, Watford, Acton and Romford, will be able to order products for rapid delivery from these larger B&Q stores. They will have a wider choice of B&Q products available to order at Deliveroo, with the range having been extended to include a larger selection of paint brands, gardening, storage and home furnishing products and more.

Amelie Gallichan-Todd, Supply and Logistics Director B&Q, said: “We’re constantly looking at ways we can enhance the experience of our customers, and by extending our service with Deliveroo to five of our larger stores, we’re increasing the range of products available, to help meet the increasing consumer demand for speed and convenience as well as options for delivery.

Suzy McClintock, VP of New Verticals at Deliveroo said: “We are delighted to expand our partnership with B&Q, adding five larger stores allowing us to deliver thousands of DIY products to even more customers’ doors across London. Our customers value the convenience of ordering everything from masking tape and dust sheets to spanners and paint for on-demand delivery, enabling them to continue their projects without delay.”
